David Papazian, co-owner of DZian Gallery, sits for a photo in his factory-turned-art-gallery. With a wonderful collection of international and local art in a wide variety of media, this gallery, which opened in May, marks another example of the gradual revitalization of the Canal District neighborhood. Dzian Gallery is a wonderful new addition to the life of Worcester County! You walk into an old mill building, up a half flight of stairs and into a new universe full of beautiful little worlds.
It is such a treat to have a resource like this here–people in places like NY City, Providence, Boston or Newport take having these gems nearby for granted. We don’t have that luxury…at least we didn’t, until now.
