Route 9 near Quabbin Reservoir
The silhouette of Pampas Grass was taken on my way past Quabbin Reservoir on Route 9 at 8:15 PM. I was driving with the windows down an inch or two, and the sound of the Spring Peepers is what originally made me stop. The body of water is not part of the Quabbin, but a small pond located at 42°17′8″N and 72°19′16″W. I finally got around to downloading Google Earth. Unbelievable! Now if only my camera had built in GPS. Hopefully it will be standard by the time I’m ready for my next one!
