Chess Pavilion - Chicago
My first stop upon arriving back in Chicago for a couple of days was at the Chess Pavillion on North Avenue beach. After talking for a while with Ron, a self-described chess hustler, I realized how important it was to walk away from a confrontation, especially when money and pawns are involved. He graciously posed for a picture, and I promised him 1% of the profits if ever I make a million from this photo.
