My brother works there full time in one of the new plants - Plant 8 “Mix and Mold.” The “Greendale” section of Worcester, I believe, was made for employees of Norton Company (previous name of the manufacturing plant.) They used to use either walnuts or peanuts as fuel for burning and would make a 2-3 mile radius smell horrible - after a while, they listened to the neighborhood and is now using other fuels that do not both pollute the air and doesn’t make the neighborhood smell.
Just some facts about good ole’ Nortons.
