Intravenous

Intravenous

I had microdiscectomy on my L5-S1 herniated disk yesterday, so I’ll be laying low for a couple of days at least. For this picture of the day, I had previsualized a (slightly) humorous picture of my wrist-banded hand holding the back of my surgical gown shut, with various medical equipment in the background, but they got me down and hooked up to the IV so quickly that I had to go with this less elaborate and more macabre picture of the day. I also used the Canon Powershot A520 which our children received for Christmas, since I didn’t want to have to lug in my usual Canon 20D setup. I promise not to post any other surgery-related photos, but since I won’t be out and about the next few days, I’ll probably dig into my archives for the next few installments.
